Icon Breaks Ground in West Campus

Icon, a new student housing tower at 22nd Street and San Antonio, broke ground this week. When completed. the 300-foot tower will be one of the tallest in the West Campus neighborhood near the University of Texas at Austin Campus.

With 555 bedrooms across 216 units, the project spans 30 stories and will include a unit mix of efficient studios to expansive five-bedroom suites. The tower will be topped with two floors of amenity spaces that will feature a pool deck, a fitness center, game and lounge rooms, a podcast/media studio, and student work spaces.

Icon is slated to complete in summer 2025 for the following semester.
