rhode partners volunteers for Habitat for humanity

October 31, 2019

For the second year in a row, Rhode Partners staff rolled up their sleeves and picked up drills and paint brushes to volunteer for Habitat for Humanity. This year, we worked on a two-bedroom bungalow for the Mansour Hussein Family, who’ll receive the keys to their new home on November 23rd.

As a group, we installed a privacy fence, hung kitchen cabinets, cut and hung window trim, and painted doors and trim. While we were working, we had the privilege of working alongside Aida Hussein on her new home.

A family of Sudanese refugees, the Mansour-Hussein family work in hospitality and the fishing industries, and their son is one of the first of their family to attend college, where he plans to find work in the medical field.
