The Loren at Ladybird Lake Featured on Travel & Leisure's Best Hotels List

Travel and Leisure published their “It List” of 2023 this week featuring the best new hotels in the world. The Loren at Lady Bird Lake was listed at #27 in their list of best 100 new hotels globally and #8 in their list of best Urban Hotels. Travel and Leisure provided a glowing review of the property at its opening last fall.

Situated at Riverside Drive and Lamar Boulevard, the project boasts a spectacular view of Ladybird Lake and Austin’s evolving skyline to the north and Austin’s beloved Zilker Park to the West. This mixed-use project features 108 luxury hotel rooms, 24 residences, an interior event space, a rooftop restaurant, and a rooftop pool overlooking the city. Exposed concrete framing paired with a warm material palette, bespoke millwork, and bronze-framed balconies overlooking Austin’s famed Lady Bird Lake blends sleek modernity and the surrounding nature.

The hotel rooms celebrate Austin’s local craftsmanship with thoughtful built-in furniture including custom blackened steel refreshment bars and white oak bed frames. Rooftop restaurant Nido is quickly becoming a local favorite for exquisite sunset dinners under the skillful hand of Chef Brad McDonald.

The Loren has been drumming up considerable press since its grand opening this past fall—coverage has included glowing articles from Forbes, Conde Nast Traveler, Tribeza, and Paper City.
