19th Street Apartments
Lubbock, TX 05 stories | 189,000 sf | 189 units | 577 beds Scope: Architecture, Interior Design
Rooted in both place and identity, the design draws from the Caprock Plateau and surrounding mesas to ground the project in its natural context. On the project’s exterior, the interplay of traditional masonry with modern façade expressions, panelized systems, and a refined grid language creates a balanced composition of durability, efficiency, and visual distinction.
Amenities include a social club, study pods, conference rooms, fitness center, sauna, spa, two heated outdoor pools, two ground level garden courtyards, and a dog park.
The interior design is organized around a clear philosophy: balanced social vibrancy with restorative calm. The spa and fitness areas are intentionally separated from the main social lounge to create a more focused wellness environment, and residents can access the spa directly from residential zones, reinforcing convenience and privacy. These spaces open onto two adjacent courtyards, strengthening the indoor-outdoor connection as the project weaves in native landscaping throughout the site.
19th Street Apartments are currently in design and are slated to break ground next year.
