LOOP design awards recognizes the loren

The Loren at Ladybird Lake has received an Honorable Mention for interiors in the LOOP Design Awards. Out of 350 submissions from 42 countries, Rhode Partners is honored to be recognized for our interior design for the project, set to open in the spring of 2022.
The Loren features handcrafted materiality, luxury furnishings, and contemporary art. Rhode Partners worked with local makers to design handcrafted details throughout the spaces like Shou Sugi Ban panels in the restaurant and blackened steel refreshment bars in the hotel rooms. A warm palette of white oak, bronze, brass, and stone brings balance, warmth, and detailed craftsmanship to the forefront of the building’s design.
The unique site at Riverside Drive and Lamar Boulevard is surrounded by opposing forces of parkland and unmatched views of downtown Austin.
