new designers join rhode partners

With new projects on the horizon, Rhode Partners is thrilled to announce the hiring of two designers this month to join the firm, Taylor Hohertz and Natalie Loftus.

Taylor Hohertz joins us from Houston, Texas where he attended the Gerald D. Hines College of Architecture and Design at the University of Houston. He has experience in multifamily and mixed-use projects, recently became licensed in October 2020, and will join the Rhode Partners team as a Project Designer. He recently moved back to Austin to be near family and set down roots.

“I come from a large family of farmers, and therefore enjoy nature and being outdoors, particularly in the countryside,” Taylor said recently about his background. “Despite my rural upbringing, I discovered from an early age that I had a passion for architecture and design, and I am in fact only one of three people in my whole family to get a non-agriculture related degree.” Taylor enjoys biking, cooking, reading, and collecting books in his free time.

Natalie Loftus recently moved from the North Bay Area of California to join our firm as a Project Designer. While studying architecture at California Polytechnic State University, Natalie also traveled and studied abroad in France for two year-long stints. She joins Rhode Partners with experience in the permitting process, construction administration, and mixed-use projects that include both boutique and large-scale wineries.

“Outside of work, you can find me cooking up and eating dishes from around the world, outdoor adventuring, enjoying art and music with my family, and trying to keep up with the endless energy of my 12 year-old daughter,” Natalie says. “I’m so excited to enjoy and discover the many wonders Austin has to offer.”

We plan to hire an additional designer with experience in interiors, with more information found here.
