The Loren at Lady Bird Lake Wins AIA Design Award

We're honored to announce that AIA Austin has recognized the Loren at Lady Bird Lake with an Award of Merit.

The hotel and residence project has anchored the urban thoroughfare at Riverside and Lamar since 2022, providing a backdrop for some of Austin's signature events, from city-wide gallery shows to acclaimed chef series.

In the project’s initial planning stages, the clients looked to expand and build upon the hospitality brand's first tropical resort property in Bermuda. They found in Austin a rapidly developing city and a prime site along the shores of Lady Bird Lake. The hotel and residence project invites discerning visitors and locals to experience an understated luxury rooted in and curated by Austin's casual culture and the site's verdant beauty. The resulting design draws from the textures, tones, and rhythms of its surroundings, grounded in the landscape of Lady Bird Lake and the energy of the urban landscape.
